You will be welcome any time. There is no charge for a visit to the Archive building.

Bishop Hill, Illinois, where the Archives is situated, is a National Historic Site. Thus, a visit to the Archives will enable you to tour this lovely historic town with Swedish connections going back over 150 years. The first three months of the year are quiet months in Bishop Hill. The shops and restaurants use this time to prepare for the opening of the season on April 1. So it is at the Archives. We spend our time going through, organizing and cleaning up the many files kept there. Daily we enter membership, resolution and genealogy information into our three computers.
