Sweden Day - The Sweden Day Committee of greater New York is excited to announce the 66th Annual Sweden Day! This festival of the summer solstice features the raising of the maypole, traditional food, music, folk dancing, kids games & prizes, and best of all, camaraderie! The many volunteers who work enthusiastically toward making this event a reality are committed and dedicated to the preservation of our Scandinavian heritage.

  • Collect, preserve and publish materials relating to the history of
    the Swedes and Finns in America; 
  • Maintain parks, monuments and memorials of historic sites; and
  • Commemorate historic events and accomplishments.
